Happy New Year from the Ramblers!

My first blog post of 2025, together with it's accompanying photographs of the completed project, is a bit postseason: Nevertheless, I feel it is important to highlight the endeavours of our parish volunteers who over many, many years; have worked quietly and consistently in the background, pushing the traditional spirit of volunteering forward, while receiving little or no recognition; executing tasks and projects, similar to and including this one; for the betterment or enhancement of the parish environment, in which we are all lucky enough to live, share and enjoy.

Thank you to the Ramblers who purchased new decorations or volunteeraly donated their wreaths: as they teamed up at noon on Saturday December 21, with other participants; to decorate St. Cormac's Church for our Christmas celebrations. Their efforts; which resulted in an impressive display, was much appreciated by Parishioners and visitors alike.

Our Rambling House Group returns to the Learning Forum at the usual time of 7.30pm, on Thursday January 9th 2025. Looking forward to everyone meeting up and planing our events for the months ahead.

Happy New Year to one and all.
